Element 2 adds to hydrogen delivery team

Kate Turner has joined the UK’s leading hydrogen refuelling business, Element 2, as a project manager. Focused on deploying the infrastructure to meet growing demand, Kate will oversee operational delivery.

Element 2 is building the first national network of hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS) across the UK and Ireland, to enable the rapid transition of heavy road vehicles and fleets to a zero carbon, zero emissions future.

Kate has joined from a commercial real-estate developer where she was a project manager. She has also held roles at PWC in assurance and audit and was a key account manager for Fairhome Group, with responsibilities supporting the management and co-ordination of property purchase pipeline in excess of £130m.

Kate Turner commented, “We have a deadline to reach net zero and I have a responsibility to ensure we meet it. From property to playing a pivotal role in the energy transition, I’m eager to make an impact.”

James Harris, chief operating officer at Element 2, said: “Demand for hydrogen is high and the quicker we can build the UK’s hydrogen refuelling network, the faster we can decarbonise our roads.

“Having Kate join Element 2, alongside our current projects team, will give us greater capability to continue to deliver at speed.”
